Widows & Fatherless Ministry

The Word of God clearly states in James 1:27 that we are to care for the widows and fatherless in the local church.  Salt of the Earth (SOTE) is a ministry that acts as the hands and feet of Jesus to qualifying widows and fatherless children.  We desire to meet the physical and spiritual needs as best we can.  

We rely on the time, talent, and financial donations of people in the body of Christ to make this ministry go forth.  Areas in which we may offer assistance include:  minor home repair, minor auto maintenance & repair, yard work, house cleaning, window washing & gutter cleaning, snow & broken limb removal, and hair care.  We also plan special events throughout the year for widows and children in need.  Some events include:  luncheons, shopping trips, Christmas party, Summer camps, and back to school shopping.
